Our Policies

Payment Information
A deposit must be received within ten days of booking or your space will be released. Some tours require full payment upon booking.

One Day Tours: The amount of deposit required is specified on the tour page. Final payment is due 45 prior to departure. There are several one day tours that require full payment upon booking.

Air Tours:
$500 per person deposit, final payment due 90 days prior to departure.

2 Days & Longer (no flights): $100 per person deposit, final payment due 60 days prior to departure.

Cruises: Varies by tour, see tour departure page for details.

International: Varies by tour, see tour departure page for details.

NASCAR Packages: Full payment is required upon booking in the form of a credit card. No checks will be accepted. If tickets are included in your package, no seating location may be selected until we receive payment.

Special Tours: Some tours require special deposit and final payment requires which is listed on the tour departure page. One day tours involving significant prepaid expenses such as tickets to a performance may require a higher deposit as noted on the tour departure page.

If You Must Cancel
Due to non-refundable advance payments and significant administrative costs, cancellations are a very costly situation regardless of the reason. To offset these costs, we often must assess a penalty on last-minute cancellations. In fairness to others, we cannot make exceptions. On all tours, regardless of when you cancel, we will be unable to refund any penalties we incur from our suppliers as a result of your cancellation. In addition, the penalties listed below may apply. If we do not receive notice of your cancellation, you will be assessed a 100% penalty.

Since cancellations cannot be accepted during non business hours, or on weekends and holidays, the time of cancellation will be based on when our office, during regular business hours, receives notice. For tours departing on a Monday, the cancellation must be received by 3 p.m. on Friday to avoid the 100% penalty.

One Day Tours: Cancellations 10 days or less prior to departure are assessed a fee of 25% of the tour price, or the total penalties we incur from our suppliers, whichever is greater.

Multi-Day Tours: Cancellations less than 45 days prior to departure are assessed an administrative cancellation of $25 per person for 2 day tours, or $50 per person for 3 day and longer tours. If your cancellation is received at least 45 days prior to departure, and we have not incurred any penalties from our suppliers, you will receive a full refund.

NASCAR Packages: NASCAR packages are non-refundable.

Travel Insurance
If you wish to provide yourself with extra protection from unexpected events, we highly recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan. Please contact our office for details.

Storer Tours will not be liable for delays or additional expenses caused by an act of God, public enemies, authority of law, quarantine, perils of navigation, riots, strikes, acts of terrorism, the hazards or dangers incident to a state of war, accidents, breakdowns, bad conditions of the road, storms, and other conditions beyond its control, and does not guarantee to arrive or depart from any point at a specific time. It is understood that Storer Tours assumes no liability for accidents, damages, losses or nonperformance of services on the part of any establishments or carriers on any particular tour. Storer Tours will not be liable for losses to its customers resulting from default or bankruptcy on the part of establishments or carriers used on any particular tour.

Itinerary Changes
Storer Tours reserves the right to make changes to itineraries of equal or greater value as deemed necessary. We cannot reimburse clients for items in the tour that they elect to not participate in.

We make every effort to maintain the prices quoted in our promotional materials and on this website. We do however reserve the right to increase our prices as the result of fuel price increases or unfavorable changes in the valuation of the dollar to applicable foreign currency.
Bus Seating
On day tours seats are assigned on a random basis. On all other tours seats are rotated on a regular basis. In fairness to others we cannot make any exceptions. On tours that are not escorted, bus seating is on a first-come-first-served basis at the pickup location.

Matching up Single Travelers to Share a Room
If you are a single traveler and wish to save money by sharing a room, we will make every effort to match you with another single traveler if you book before the final payment is due. We can arrange for you to exchange phone numbers with a prospect so that you may determine compatibility. Matching will be done on a first-come-first-served basis and we reserve the right to limit the number of attempts to match prospects.

Change of Pickup Location
Any change in pickup location must be requested at least 30 days prior to departure.

Special Assistance
Travelers requiring assistance with walking, dining or personal needs must be accompanied by an able companion who can provide this assistance. On air tours we can arrange for a wheelchair at the airport if you notify us at the time of booking.

Passports are now required for anyone flying between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. They are either required or highly recommended for all forms of travel between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico including motorcoach and cruise ship. Storer Tours recommends that all of our travelers obtain a passport as soon as possible.
